Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Sacramento is seeking a part-time delivery driver to load, deliver, and support a branch. Two days per week, up to 29.5 hours, with no weekend work and occasional overnight routes as needed.

Candidate must be able to operate a 20-24’ box truck, obtain a DOT Medical Card, and use GPS for routing. CDL is not required. Starting pay is $23/hour, with on-the-job training and benefits including 401(k) matching and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain required licensure/endorsement for 20-24’ box truck and a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a GPS for delivery routes.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, and drive a 20-24’ box truck to customers.
• Provide safe, timely delivery with high customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assist with branch warehouse support.
