Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Auburn, MA is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to load, unload, and operate a 20-24’ box truck for local deliveries with a focus on safety and customer service. Schedule: 2-3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours, with no weekends or overnight shifts.

The role includes performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, adhering to DOT rules, and assisting branch warehouse activities. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with wage reviews and on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck; CDL not required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use GPS and to lift/move products with pallet jack or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck
• Safe and timely delivery with high level of customer service
• Follow DOT rules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain clean, professional image of self and vehicle
