Job summary

San Mateo County Libraries is seeking an enthusiastic Part-time Bookmobile Driver/Library Assistant to serve communities countywide. You will drive the Bookmobile, assist patrons, and support outreach events with a focus on friendly, inclusive service.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, knowledge of library operations, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules including days, evenings, and weekends. Prior library or outreach experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote library programs and assist volunteers as needed.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and timely handling of materials.
