Overview:

ProMed Health Plus is a fast-growing medical and biotech startup seeking a highly experienced bookkeeper who is more than just a number cruncher. We’re looking for a financial strategist — someone who can handle taxes, optimize write-offs, and provide creative insight into the financial structure of a scaling business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly reports
• Prepare and organize documents for tax filings and audits
• Identify legal write-offs and deductions for maximum tax efficiency
• Build and analyze creative financial models
• Guide leadership on cash flow, burn rate, and revenue tracking
• Collaborate on budgeting and financial strategy

Requirements:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping and tax experience
• Deep understanding of U.S. business tax law, deductions, and compliance
• Experience working with startups or small businesses
• Ability to work independently and think strategically
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• CPA or similar credentials is a strong plus
