U.S. Lawns – Spokane is a growing commercial landscape management company serving properties in Spokane County and North Idaho.

We seek an experienced part-time bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting, keep records accurate, reconciled, and current, and to independently research and resolve routine issues using QuickBooks Online. This role offers flexibility with a combination of office and remote work after training, with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for advancement as processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
• Bank and credit-card reconciliation experience.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Maintain company accounting records in QuickBooks Online.
• Review and categorize bank and credit-card transactions.
• Perform monthly bank and credit-card reconciliations.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Record and verify customer payments.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection tracking.
• Enter and review vendor bills and expenses.
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor records.
• Track equipment, vehicle, loan, and liability accounts.
• Reconcile payroll-related transactions.
• Maintain 1099 vendor information.
• Assist with year-end 1099 preparation.
• Prepare and/or assist with Washington State excise tax filings.
• Maintain records supporting Washington B&O and sales/use tax reporting.
• Assist with applicable Idaho sales-tax reporting.
• Review monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
• Identify unusual transactions, duplicate charges, misclassifications, and discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with management and our CPA/tax professionals.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow reporting, and job-cost reporting as needed.
