Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping practices.
• Experience working with multiple companies or business entities preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and electronic document management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple entities.
• Enter and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Manage accounts payable, including entering bills, tracking due dates, and preparing payments for approval.
• Monitor accounts receivable and create invoices and payment tracking.
• Record deposits and ensure payments are properly applied.
• Maintain organized electronic financial records, receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Review transactions for proper classification by company, account, and expense.
• Make intercompany transactions and ensure expenses are recorded to the appropriate entity.
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping and reconciliation as needed.
• Track recurring expenses, subscriptions, vendor payments, and automatic withdrawals.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial preparation.
• Prepare basic financial reports for management.
