Job summary

Cub Bloomington Lyndale is seeking a dedicated individual for a Part-Time Bookkeeper position to perform daily store accounting procedures and provide management with accurate reporting of cash flow while ensuring security and confidentiality. Responsibilities include customer relations, front end duties, and maintaining an organized bookkeeping office.

Eligible candidates must meet physical requirements and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, telephone, etc.).
• Able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction.
• Perform daily store accounting procedures.
• Conduct security procedures for store bookkeeping office, information, and contents.
• Provide for clean, efficient organization of bookkeeping office.
• Perform front end duties.
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning.
