Job summary

Cub Bloomington Lyndale is seeking a dedicated Part-time Bookkeeper to handle daily store accounting procedures, providing management with accurate reporting of the store’s cash flow and ensuring security and confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer relations, performing front-end duties, and supporting front-end maintenance and cleaning, with early morning shifts and weekend availability. UNFI supports equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment such as scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, telephone, etc.
• Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service during on-going customer interaction.
• Use good judgment when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or written instructions; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Perform daily store accounting procedures.
• Conduct security procedures for the bookkeeping office, information, and contents.
• Provide for clean, efficient organization of the bookkeeping office.
