Job summary

Mollie Stone's Markets, a local Bay Area grocery chain, is seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper (Backup) Cashier/APC Clerk for our Grand Central location. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven and flexible to perform cashiering and other duties as needed.

The role requires prior bookkeeping and cash handling experience, availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping and cash handling experience.
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Willingness to train/work in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll administration to corporate payroll.
• Process daily deposits and balance the books.
• Complete weekly reports and paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with inquiries.
• Willingness to cashier when required.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and direct customers to products.
