• Counsels pre-op patients to identify and modify risk factors.
• Performs patient evaluation and workup under supervision of the physician.
• Orders laboratory and diagnostic procedures; interprets data for diagnosis and plan.
• Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments; educates on health maintenance.
• Coordinates DME with medical management program.
• Evaluates patient status via labs, radiology, DEXA and charts.
• Collaborates with physician; maintains patient records and charts.
• Assists with post-operative orders and follow-up care.
