• Previous control room / board operator experience preferred.
• Able to learn FCC rules and EAS guidelines.
• Reliable with adjustable scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run the console in the radio station control room.
• Play all commercials as scheduled and maintain logs.
• Monitor weather, traffic, and news; manage EAS/Amber alerts.
• Ensure high-quality on-air output from master control.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:Running the console in a radio station control room broadcasting a variety of live or pre-recorded local and syndicated entertainment programsPlaying all commercials as scheduled and maintaining a commercial and transmitter logMonitors and updates weather, traffic, and news reportsMonitor for EAS Alerts, Ambers Alerts and breaking newsMonitors the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from master control roomQualifications:Previous control console operation experience preferredAudio production skills preferredAbility to learn FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelinesProficient using computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Audition or other audio editing software preferredFamiliar with audio mixers preferredFlexibility in scheduling required; majority of the hours are in the evenings, weekends and holidays

Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
