Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital is seeking a part-time Doula to support pregnancy, labor, and postpartum families in rural Utah communities. The role is 20 hours per week at the Spanish Fork OB Clinic with potential travel throughout Juab County.

Responsibilities include emotional, physical, and educational support from prenatal through postpartum, attendance at prenatal meetings, and postpartum visits.

Qualificações

• Certification through DONA International, ICEA Birth Doula (or comparable) within one year.
• Previous childbirth experience is required.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance.
• Availability to support birthing parents day, night, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel across rural communities served by the program.

Responsabilidades

• Provide physical, emotional, and educational support during prenatal, labor, and postpartum periods.
• Attend prenatal appointments as needed (up to 2 visits) to foster relationships and birth planning.
• Offer postpartum assistance (up to 3 months) and lactation or feeding support where requested.
• Remain within scope of doula practice and adhere to ethics.

Conhecimentos

DONA/ICEA certification within 1 year

Childbirth experience

Driving license & reliable transport

Flexibility to travel across Juab Co.
