Responsibilities

• Coordinate biology labs, ensuring materials and supplies meet course needs.
• Prepare labs, clean glassware, and prepare solutions for labs.
• Coordinate lab schedules with instructors and maintain communications for smooth transitions between labs.
• Receive, label, and store chemicals; maintain chemical inventories.
• Manage safe handling and disposal of lab and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety rules.
• Set up and maintain chemical inventories and SDS resources.
• Prepare and update lab prep sheets for safety and compliance.
• Organize prep areas to keep a clean, safe workspace between classes.
• Assist instructors with setup/breakdown of labs and equipment.
