Job summary

A community-focused developmental service provider is seeking a part-time foreign language translator to support families with infants and toddlers in New Jersey. Responsibilities include accurately interpreting conversations between providers and families and ensuring swift contact with assigned families. Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma, certification in interpretation services, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. Qualifications

• Experience in Early Intervention or other related health field with children and families under 5 years of age.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interprets the providers and family conversation without edits or substitutions.
• Contact assigned families within 24 hours of assignment to schedule 1st visit with practitioner/interpreter/family.
• Maintains confidentiality of all child/family information.
