Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College invites applications for a part‑time faculty position in the Bicycle Technician Program. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in bicycle mechanics, with the ability to teach and assess students, prepare syllabi, and manage records

Qualifications

• Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority.
• Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a plus.
• Ability to use an online platform.
• Experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration.
• Familiarity with bicycle mechanics, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3–11 load hours per semester across listed bicycle mechanics courses.
• Prepare syllabi and outlines, submit grades by deadlines, maintain FERPA records.
• Attend college and department meetings and trainings as assigned.
