Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking a part-time instructor for the Bicycle Technician Program. The instructor will teach courses focused on bicycle mechanics, including various technical skills and theory with flexible scheduling across 3 to 11 credit hours each semester.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong teaching ability. Industry certifications and experience in technical training are preferred. Compensation is $765 per credit hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience in bicycle mechanics.
• Industry certifications in bicycle mechanics or related technical areas are preferred.
• Teaching experience at the college level or in a technical training setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Bicycle Technician Program.
• Facilitate and evaluate student learning; prepare course syllabi and outlines.
• Submit grades and maintain student records.
• Attend meetings and functions.
