Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher to lead LifeWise classes during school hours. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching students.

You will implement LifeWise curriculum, maintain a safe classroom, take attendance, report records, and act as an ambassador within the community. This is a non-exempt hourly position under LifeWise’s mission and protocol.

Qualifications

• Active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain Records and take attendance in each class.
