Job summary

Apiphani is seeking a data-driven BI Analyst consultant to bridge raw data and strategic decisions. You will gather detailed business requirements to design, develop, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and AWS QuickSight, with a focus on scalable reporting and data governance.

Responsibilities include KPI definition, data modeling, and training business users while collaborating with data engineers. This is a 20-hour/week, US-based engagement with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven track record of leading requirement-gathering workshops with executives.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & KPI Definition
• Translate vague business needs into detailed, technical data specifications
• Define clear, measurable KPIs aligned with business goals
• Document data dictionaries, metric definitions, and source-to-target mappings
• Design intuitive dashboards in Power BI and QuickSight
• Build robust data models, calculated measures, and RLS
• Optimize dashboard performance for fast load times
• Migrate or replicate reports across AWS and Azure environments when necessary
