Job summary

Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking a Beverage Server to join our team. You will take orders from patrons, serve promptly, and ensure quality guest service in a fast-paced casino setting.

JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for a friendly and energetic individual who will thrive in a fast paced environment. As a Beverage Server you are responsible for serving in an excellent and timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
• Keep area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Be able to use all bar equipment, cash registers and Berg Beverage System.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Ability to lift 1-50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent and six months work experience in cocktail serving is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
