Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is seeking a Hotel Bell Person to greet guests, assist with luggage, and open doors, delivering a warm welcome to our premier casino resort.

You will guide guests on hotel services, inspect rooms with them, manage luggage storage, and support with safety features. This on-call role primarily covers weekend needs with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of hospitality or related experience or education.
• Ability to pass a basic math skills test.
• Working knowledge of point of sale systems and computer operations.
• Clear reading, writing, and speaking of English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage; open doors and escort to registration when needed.
• Provide information on hotel services, restaurants, and amenities; answer guest inquiries.
• Inspect hotel rooms with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with secure storage and retrieval of luggage, coats, and other items.
• Maintain a control log of luggage movement and items.

Description

Come join Mystic Lake Casino Hotel as our Hotel Bell Person! In this opportunity you will greet guests upon arrival and provides prompt assistance with luggage. While opening the doors to our premier casino resort and entertainment destination you will be the first warm welcome every guest has in their memorable experience. Job Overview: Assists guests in the areas of Coat Check Operations, and Hotel Bell stand with the loading and unloading of hotel guest luggage and other services; while applying high guest service standards.

Illuminate Your Future: What You’ll Do:

• Greets guests upon arrival and provides prompt assistance with luggage. Opens doors and may escort guests to the registration area.
• Provides guests with information about casino and hotel services, restaurants, and various amenities and answers guest inquiries.
• Inspects hotel rooms with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assists guests with secure storage and retrieval of luggage, packages, coats, hats, and other items.
• Maintains control log of the movement of luggage and other items.
• Operates P.O.S. register system for processing scooter and wheelchair transactions.
• Prepares cash register shift reports, reconciliation, and cash counts.
• Familiarizes guests with the hotel’s safety features and any in-room amenities.
• Cleans and maintains work area and applicable equipment.
• Processes and delivers guest laundry.
• Tour Bus Load In/Load Out

Required Experience:

• Any combination of education and/or experience in hospitality or related field to equal one year.
• Ability to pass basic math skills test.
• Working knowledge of point of sales and computer operations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively
