Green Light Driving School in Batavia, IL is seeking a part-time Behind-the-Wheel Driving Instructor to work one-on-one with teen drivers. You will help students gain confidence, learn safe driving habits, and handle a range of real-world driving scenarios.

We value dependability, patience, and clear communication. Scheduling is after school, evenings, and weekends, with more options in summer. Training and licensing support are available.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, able to schedule after school, evenings and weekends.
• Patient and able to calm nervous beginners.
• Able to teach teens in real-world driving scenarios.
• Willing to follow established schedules and procedures.
• Comfortable driving in various weather and road conditions.
• Strong communication with office and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction to new drivers
• Help students build confidence and develop safe driving habits
• Teach basic vehicle control, defensive driving, and decision-making
• Pick up and drop off students within local service area
• Guide students through diverse roads and traffic situations
• Keep simple, accurate lesson records
• Maintain training vehicles clean and safe
• Stay in communication with office for questions or issues
• Help turn nervous beginners into safer, more confident drivers
