Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, California seeks a Behavioral Health Technician / Specialist for the Needs Assessment Department on the AM shift (8-hour shifts). This Part-Time role requires weekend availability and offers an hour pay range of $23-$25.

The position provides direct patient care to individuals with emotional or psychiatric disorders, handles calls, transports patients, and supports department operations.

Qualificações

• High school degree or GED required.
• Hospital and/or psych experience preferred.
• Telephone etiquette and customer service skills by phone and face-to-face.
• Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and professional boundaries; seek supervision as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders.
• Field and route calls; accompany and transport patients as assigned.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to patient care and department.
• Learn about behavioral health and develop a lasting career in healthcare.
