Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital’s Behavioral Health Team seeks a part-time RN in Waterbury, CT. You will support patients and families, contribute to recovery, and participate in multidisciplinary care planning and patient safety initiatives.

Required CT RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred. Behavioral health experience is a plus. Part-time, 24 hours, day shift, with weekend/holiday rotation. RN Step Program pay range applies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required.
• Behavioral/Psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support for patients and families to empower recovery.
• Offer meaningful feedback to help the multidisciplinary team tailor treatment goals.
• Educate and support patients and families during BH Admission.
• Lead patient observations and milieu management to ensure safety and address emergent needs.
