Job summary

Trinity Health of New England Medical Group is seeking an RN for per diem, day shift, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. You will deliver direct patient care, triage calls, administer medications and injections, and assist with stress tests and cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC).
• RN Experience required; experience with Cardiac Stress Tests preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and care team to coordinate testing, follow-up care, and treatment plans.
• Contribute to quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques.
• Educate patients and family members for transparent understanding of care.
• Understand computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and MS Office.
• Demonstrate problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
