Job summary

Greater New Jersey Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a compassionate Group Facilitator to lead behavioral health group sessions in Lawrence Township, NJ. This part-time, on-site role offers daytime and evening slots with compensation per group ($75 for daytime, $100 for evening).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant behavioral health services experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health interventions including CBT, DBT-informed skills, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation and relapse prevention.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Ability to work part-time, on-site in Lawrence Township, NJ, during daytime or evening group sessions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured group sessions focused on mental health, substance use recovery, emotional regulation, and coping skills.
• Incorporate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, psychoeducation, relapse prevention) into group programming.
• Create a safe, inclusive group environment that encourages active participation and respectful communication.
• Support clients in identifying challenges, strengthening coping strategies, and developing recovery-focused skills.
• Collaborate with clinical team to align group programming with individualized treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of group sessions and client participation per standards.
• Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality and trauma-informed practices.
