Job summary

myHHBS in Los Angeles is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Therapists for part-time positions to deliver one-on-one ABA services to children across Los Angeles County. The role includes paid training and mentor support to grow a career in Behavior Analysis.

Position requires availability 3:00-8:00 PM Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth, mileage reimbursement, and 401K participation after 1 year. Prior BCBA supervision and RBT familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with developmental disabilities.
• Must have valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance, and own transportation.
• TB test within last 4 years; pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect data on all programs.
• Analyze and assist young clients in developing social behaviors and life skills.
• Record detailed observation notes for every client.
• Collaborate with family to obtain feedback and provide support.
• Attend clinical team meetings and trainings.
• Work independently as well as on a team, accepting feedback to ensure quality.

Requirements

Behavior Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:

I mplement treatment plans as part of a dynamic team under thesupervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Master’s level supervisor.

Collect data on all programs.

Analyzeand assist young clients in developing appropriate socialbehaviors and life skills
Recorddetailed observation notes for every client
Collaboratewith family members to obtain feedback on progress and providesupport
Attendclinical team meetings and training sessions
Workindependently as well as on a team, taking instruction andconstructive feedback positively to ensure a high quality ofservice to the client

Behavior Therapist Requirements and Qualifications:

Availability

Must be available Monday-Friday from 3-8PM

Education and Experience

• Associates Degree/Bachelor's degree preferred.
  
• 6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  

Abilityto lift 40 pounds and sit/play on the floor for extended periodsof time

NegativeTB test within last 4 years

Must have valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance, and own transportation

Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour

Competitivepay and initial and ongoing paid training - Maximum pay is dependent upon the combination of education and experience
