Job summary

United Care ABA-New York is seeking compassionate individuals for a rewarding part-time Behavior Technician (BT) role. No ABA experience required; we provide training and ongoing clinical guidance to help you support children with autism and developmental needs.

You’ll work one-on-one with a child, help develop communication and daily living skills, follow plans created by clinical professionals, and report progress. Flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend hours with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• No ABA experience required; training provided.
• Background in childcare, education, caregiving, or healthcare is welcome.
• Ability to work one-on-one with children.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism and developmental or behavioral needs.
• Help children learn communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized teaching and behavior support plans created by clinical professionals.
• Encourage positive behaviors and celebrate progress.
• Record observations and progress data during sessions.
• Communicate with your supervising BCBA and participate in required training.
• Maintain a consistent schedule and provide a safe, encouraging learning environment.
