United Care ABA-New York is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work one-on-one with children with autism in a structured, skill-based setting. This is hands-on experience in behavioral health, child development, and real-life skill building.

This role offers flexible hours, paid training, and mentorship from a BCBA, with opportunities to advance. Ideal for psychology, social work, education majors, or students seeking practical clinical experience

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with kids.
• Reliability and follow-through are essential.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a child with autism in home or community settings.
• Receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from a BCBA who will guide you.
• Learn and apply ABA to support communication, social skills, and independence.
• Track behavior and progress data, building observational and clinical thinking skills.
