Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work with children in their homes and occasional local centers. Hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30pm–8pm, up to 20 hours weekly, with daily pay options and a base pay of $22.75–$28/hr. Spanish fluency adds $0.50/hr.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months’ experience with kids, a reliable vehicle, and be willing to pass background and health checks. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver's license, and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn through play, teaching skills like communication, sharing, or following directions through activities.
• Be a positive role model, encouraging progress and celebrating small victories daily.
• Stay active by moving around, playing, and engaging during sessions.
• Keep things organized by tracking progress and sessions; training will be provided.
• Support families as part of a team to help children see real progress and hope.
