Qualifications

  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (at least 1 year required).
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting.
  • Collect and record data on child behaviors.

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Are you looking to make a difference in a child with autisms life? If so, apply to join our team! We're currently looking for a passionate Behavior Therapist who's interested in working in the Lafayette area!

As a Behavior Therapist you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting
  • Collect and record data on child behaviors
  • Work closely with BCBAs and help build the best treatment plans
  • Attend team meetings as designated to share your weekly experience, collaborate with other team members and provide feedback for how we can improve

What You'll Need

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within child care
  • Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course
  • Pass RBT Certification within 90 days of hire (we will help you study)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
