The ideal candidate will manage staff, ensure safety, and implement engaging curricula. Candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as CPR and First Aid certifications. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, college credits/degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels including staff, parents and school staff.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions that adhere to the purpose, mission and goals of the YMCA.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and planning skills.
• 1-3 years Supervisory experience.
• 1-3 years working with children in a group setting in Before/Afterschool programs.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required.
• Experience adhering to Licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and thorough attendance of all students and staff each day.
• Ensure the safety of all children enrolled in the program by following supervision standards.
• Coach, guide and manage the day-to-day duties of group leaders/assistants.
• Plan and implement a weekly curriculum incorporating quality physical activities, nutrition education, STEAM, educational projects and SEL activities.
• Promote Y Programs and Camps to families and assist with planning and implementation of special events.
