Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to lead before/after school programs in New Jersey. The role centers on safety, daily enrichment, and Staff supervision during morning and after-school hours.

A focus on effective communication with families and partners is essential to deliver engaging, compliant programming. The ideal candidate will have experience managing competing priorities, working with children, and a background in child development coursework.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities and delivering quality service.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development.
• Strong communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents and staff.
• Familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: coach staff, update documents, outline policies, maintain team cohesion.
• Safety Assurance: support safety protocols and document proof of MMR.
• Effective Communication: engage with families and partners, respond promptly.
• Documentation and Compliance: manage check-ins/check-outs and attendance.
• Daily Routine: implement activities and curriculum in a safe environment.
