Job summary

St. Rose of Lima School is seeking a Part-time Extended Daycare staff member to assist K-8 students with homework before and after school. The role requires supervising activities, ensuring safety, and communicating with parents during drop-off and pick-up.

Candidates must be active Roman Catholics, experienced with elementary-age children, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified. The position reports to the Principal and offers part-time hours in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school children.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Active Roman Catholic with understanding of Catholic school philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups with homework.
• Monitor activities and ensure safety of students.
• Communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up.
• Keep the classroom organized and safe.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with student check-in/out.
• Perform other duties assigned by the principal.
