Job summary

Step Up Family Services is seeking a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to serve Ocean County, NJ. This in-home/after-school role supports children and families across Brick, Jackson, Toms River and surrounding areas, with a 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM schedule and per diem arrangements.

The BCBA/LBA will conduct assessments, develop BSPs, supervise BTs/RBTs, collaborate with families, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining caseload ownership

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Must hold and maintain BCBA certification.
• Must hold and maintain NJ LBA license or be eligible for licensure.
• Experience providing ABA services and developing behavioral interventions.
• Background checks and credentialing completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and FBAs; identify priorities and clinical recommendations.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and modify BSPs and treatment plans.
• Analyze client data and outcomes to adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide supervision and direction to BTs/RBTs; ensure fidelity.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to promote consistency across environments.
• Maintain caseload ownership, scheduling, and timely documentation.
• Ensure compliance with BACB ethics, NJ licensure, and payer requirements.
