Job summary

Linwood Center is seeking a Full Time professional to support students with behavioral needs in Ellicott City, MD. You'll conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, develop Behavior Intervention Plans, and support classroom staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Train and support classroom staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior strategies.
• Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state guidelines.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student success.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to student programming and planning.
• Support onboarding and intake processes for new students.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to behavior assistants.

What You’ll Do

Training & Support

• We provide CPR certification
• We provide Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field (preferred)
• BCBA certification (or comparable)
• At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for supporting students with behavioral needs
