Job summary

JBA Institute is seeking a full-time, salaried BCBA to join our growing team. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, supervising ABA services across home, school, and community settings, and training parents and staff.

Applicants must hold a BCBA in good standing, have ABA experience across diverse settings, and be willing to travel to client sites in the Long Beach/South Bay area during typical business hours.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing required.
  • ABA principles and procedures knowledge.
  • At least one year of experience developing, implementing, and monitoring ABA-based intervention services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral disorders, across different settings and funding sources.
  • Capable of managing time independently, remaining organized, and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing and able to drive to clients' homes, schools, clinic and other community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments and skills assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including establishing measurable treatment goals, programs/procedures for implementation, and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide and supervise direct implementation of ABA-based intervention services in home, school, and community settings.
  • Conduct regular parent and staff training.
  • Collaborate with school staff and other professionals.
  • Analyze data to monitor progress, modify goals and procedures, and write progress reports.
  • Attend planning meetings with funding agencies and parents (e.g., IEPs, peer reviews).

JBA Institute is now hiring a full-time, salaried BCBA to join our growing team!

JBA is an agency that specializes in providing high-quality behavior intervention services, based on the principles of the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA), for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), related disabilities, and behavioral disorders.

Service area includes south LA County (primarily Long Beach & South Bay area, expanding to several adjacent cities).

  • Must be available during operating hours of 7:45am-6:30pm Monday through Friday, no late evenings or weekends required!

Job Duties:
