Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking detail-oriented translators to join an ongoing Basque-English post-editing project. You will edit machine-translated customer service content, ensure accuracy, consistency, and align with style guidelines.

Work is intermittent, with approximately 1–2 hours weekly depending on client needs, and scheduling is flexible. Experience in translation or MT post-editing and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Native proficiency in Basque with strong English skills.
• Experience in translation, localization, or MT post-editing.
• Familiarity with MT quality evaluation and error identification.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in an online environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and review machine-translated customer service content with high accuracy.
• Evaluate MT output quality and apply severity ratings per guidelines.
• Produce high-quality human translations as reference data for training.
• Follow style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements.
• Identify and report recurring MT quality issues and batch trends.
