Job summary

South Suburban Park and Recreation District is seeking a Bartender/Server for a part-time role. There is no fixed application deadline; we review on a rolling basis. Compensation is $11.79 per hour. Flexibility to work varied shifts and the ability to stand for extended periods are required.

The role involves providing guests with attentive service, knowledge of beverages, table service, bar service, cash handling, and upselling. Experience in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to sell alcoholic beverages.
• No experience required, but hospitality experience is preferred.
• Ability to arrive on time, stand for extended periods and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with quality food and beverage service.
• Guide guests through menus and upsell upgrades.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling and beverage preparation.
