Job summary

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is looking for a bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests according to service standards. You will greet guests, take orders, check IDs, monitor alcohol service, handle payments, and keep the bar area clean.

The role requires 18+ and a high school diploma, with 3+ years of related experience preferred. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and holidays is essential, and knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption.
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Maintains clean and sanitary bar area.
• Resolves guest complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
