Job summary

South Suburban Park & Recreation District is seeking a Bartender/Server for a part-time role. You will provide guests with food and beverages and friendly service.

Guide guests through menus and recommend upgrades while maintaining beverage handling policies. No experience required, but hospitality experience is preferred; must be 21+ to sell alcohol and able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• No experience required, hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ to sell alcohol.
• Arrive on time and stand for extended periods.
• Be able to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with food and beverages with attentive, friendly service.
• Guide guests through food and beverage menus and recommend upgrades.
• Handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain beverage handling policies and procedures.
