Job summary

Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a part-time bartender who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As part of Troon, you will support bar operations and deliver friendly service.

Responsibilities include stocking, mixing drinks, inventory control, handling cash with POS, and assisting with events. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of bartending experience or training, plus alcohol awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist in cost control.
• Maintain inventory control and notify management when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Open/close duties including inventory, cash, cleaning, restocking.
• Handle checks and cash transactions; use the POS system.
• Review banquet schedules and events; serve catered parties.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
