Job summary

La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, AZ, part of Troon, is seeking a part-time bartender who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will mix and serve beverages to guests following our standards, delivering memorable dining experiences through genuine, professional interactions.

Responsibilities include stocking and serving drinks, assisting with seasonal cocktails and menu development, managing POS transactions, and upholding safety and liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience.
• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training and safe work practices.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist with inventory records.
• Assist in seasonal cocktails and menu development.
• Assist with Social Media content scheduling and creation.
• Maintain inventory control and monitor products.
• Communicate with management when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with management.
• Perform opening/closing duties including cash handling and restocking.
• Utilize POS system for transactions and banquet scheduling.
• Review banquet/ events calendar for changes.
