Job summary

The Industrialist Pittsburgh is seeking a Part-time Bartender to join the Restaurant team. You will prepare and serve beverages for bar and dining room guests, greet customers, and help ensure a seamless beverage service.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, strong knowledge of cocktails, and excellent customer service. High school diploma required; bartending certification preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work during peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or high-volume bar.
• Experience working with servers and supporting table service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for bar guests and restaurant server drink orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, make recommendations, and provide welcoming service.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar throughout the shift.
• Support servers by preparing beverages and coordinating drink delivery during meal service.
• Process guest payments, manage tabs, and handle cash accurately.
• Verify guest ID and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas, glassware, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with bar opening and closing procedures.
• Address guest concerns professionally and alert management when needed.
