Job summary

Champions Social Club in Dallas is seeking a part-time bartender to deliver exceptional hospitality and expert beverage service. You will craft classic and craft cocktails, recommend pairings, upsell offerings, and ensure responsible service while collaborating with FOH and culinary teams.

The role requires 2–3 years of upscale bartending experience, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and current TABC and Food Handler certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years bartending in upscale or fine dining.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience crafting craft and classic cocktails.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Ability to create specialty cocktails.
• Must pass a cocktail-making assessment during interview.
• Current TABC and Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent hospitality and guest experiences.
• Prepare and serve classic, craft, and signature cocktails.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings and upsell menu items.
• Verify IDs and serve alcohol responsibly per laws and policies.
• Take orders accurately, noting dietary restrictions.
• Keep bar clean, stocked, and manage opening/closing duties.
• Operate POS, process payments, and manage cash/tabs.
• Collaborate with Front of House and Culinary teams.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, spirits, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Lead by example with professionalism and teamwork.
• Perform other duties to support daily operations.

About the Role

*This is a part-time, hourly position working approximately 15-25 hours weekly.*

Our Bartenders play one of the most integral roles in delivering the Champions Social Club experience. As the face of our bar, you are responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences through genuine hospitality, expert beverage knowledge, and flawless execution of service standards. Beyond preparing classic and craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, you are expected to use your personality, professionalism, and attention to detail to create memorable moments for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality and create memorable guest experiences.
• Prepare and serve classic, craft, and signature cocktails with consistency and precision.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings while confidently upselling menu offerings.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with all laws and company policies.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, including dietary restrictions and allergen preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar while completing opening and closing duties.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and accurately manage cash and tabs.
• Collaborate with the Front of House and Culinary teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail recipes.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Lead by example through professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to the Champions culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years bartending in an upscale or fine dining, hospitality atmosphere is required.
• Flexible schedule including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proven experience preparing craft and classic cocktails.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques.
• Ability to create and recommend specialty cocktails.
• Bartending candidates must successfully complete a practical cocktail-making assessment during the interview process.
• Current TABC and Food Handler’s Certification required.
