Fierce Whiskers Distillery in Austin, TX is seeking a dependable Part-Time Bartender to operate our tasting room on Fridays and Saturdays. You will handle cocktail service, inventory, and budgeting to deliver a memorable guest experience.

The role requires ownership of the bar, TABC certification or plan to obtain, strong hospitality skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or hospitality; ability to provide friendly, attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service to every guest.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, and beverages consistently and efficiently.
• Create a welcoming tasting-room experience and represent Fierce Whiskers Distillery well.
• Maintain knowledge of our spirits and discuss products with guests confidently.
• Monitor bar inventory and anticipate supply needs.
• Order liquor, mixers, garnishes, bar supplies, and other items.
• Maintain a tight purchasing budget and avoid waste.
• Keep inventory records and notify management of concerns.
• Stock and organize the bar before, during, and after each shift.
• Keep a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar and tasting area.
• Follow all TABC requirements and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Accurately handle transactions and maintain sales accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest experience and tasting-room sales.

Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays | Part-Time

Fierce Whiskers Distillery is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Part-Time Bartender to help operate our tasting room on Fridays and Saturdays.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the bar—not only providing great service, but also keeping the bar stocked, organized, clean, and operating within budget.

Responsibilites:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guest
• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, and other beverages consistently and efficiently
• Create a welcoming tasting-room experience and represent Fierce Whiskers Distillery well
• Maintain knowledge of our spirits and be able to confidently discuss products with guests
• Monitor bar inventory and anticipate supply needs
• Order liquor, mixers, garnishes, bar supplies, and other necessary items
• Maintain a tight purchasing budget and avoid unnecessary spending or waste
• Keep accurate track of inventory and notify management of any concerns
• Properly stock and organize the bar before, during, and after each shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar and tasting room
• Follow all TABC requirements and responsible alcohol-service practices
• Accurately handle transactions and maintain accountability for sales
• Help identify opportunities to improve the guest experience, reduce costs, and increase tasting-room sales
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities as needed

TABC certification is required or must be obtained prior to beginning work.
