Job summary

Freedom Ride in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Barn Manager to support daily barn operations and ensure a safe, well-organized environment for horses, riders, volunteers, and staff.

You will assist with feeding, grooming, stall maintenance, and overseeing volunteers, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on program needs. This on-site role requires reliable transportation and a passion for therapeutic riding.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic horse care and barn duties (feeding, grooming, stall cleaning).
• Ability to follow barn safety procedures and proper tack handling.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, watering, grooming, and general horse care.
• Muck stalls, maintain clean aisles and tack areas, monitor horse health and behavior.
• Prepare horses for lessons and coordinate with instructors.
