Intelligentsia Coffee in Watertown, MA, is hiring a Barista who thrives in a fast-paced specialty coffee setting. You’ll prepare beverages, maintain high freshness standards and educate guests about our coffees.

Starting wages are $18.24/hr with potential to reach $19.19/hr after certification, plus tips averaging $5–$7/hr. We offer paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and a strong training program to grow your skills.

Qualifications

We’re passionate about coffee, and that means we pay a bit more for coffee in order to buy direct and create long-term, collaborative relationships with our producers that grow exceptional coffee.The starting wage for a Barista in Watertown is $18.24/hr. There is an extensive training program and a new hire generally should become full-bar capable within 90 days. After certification, the pay rate improves to $19.19/hr. The position is eligible for tips.
