Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a Part-Time Barista for our Cafe team at 311 West Monroe, Chicago. You will report to the Cafe Supervisor and General Manager, working Tue-Thu from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and you will deliver genuine service in line with our brand standards.

You’ll greet clients, prepare and serve beverages, maintain clean stations, and support events and room setups. Applicants should have at least 1 year of barista experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Barista experience.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be highly motivated and ready to lead other team members.
• Proficient in multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with enthusiasm and friendliness.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Provide world-class service, in accordance with our Brand Standards.
• Set up, replenish, maintain, and breakdown Food and Beverage stations.
• Develop relationships with clients.
• Accurately answer client questions about culinary offerings and spaces.
• Follow checklists and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Set up and breakdown conference rooms and refreshing rooms as needed.
• Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean, organized work areas.
