Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a team member for our Food and Beverage coffee cafe at Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, IL. The role emphasizes guest service, accurate order taking, beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean station in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has six months of Barista or similar F&B experience, a passion for hospitality, and a willingness to follow food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Barista or in a similar Food & Beverage role.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Food handler certification is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a clean workstation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the cafe on a daily basis.
• Greet guests, take and document drink orders, and prepare beverages.
• Adhere to all state, federal and corporate food safety requirements.
• Input orders into the POS system and balance transactions.
• Handle cash and ensure proper voucher processing.
• Lock up and store all equipment and secure bank deposits.
