Southern Crescent Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Barbering to teach courses across day, evening, and online formats. The role includes teaching dual enrollment courses and traveling to multiple campuses to support student success.

The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia Master Barber license, a Cosmetology Diploma, and the Barber Instructor’s License, with teaching experience in postsecondary settings and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Master Barber license.
• Current Georgia Master Cosmetologist License.
• Minimum of three (3) years of in-field work experience within the past seven (7) years.

Responsabilités

• Teach Barbering courses across day, evening, and online formats.
• Teach dual enrollment courses as assigned.
• Travel to multiple campuses may be required.
• Evaluate student progress and outcomes.
• Provide academic advising and guidance to students.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership to support program alignment.
• Participate in program review and departmental meetings.
